Swiss are known for being very secretive about their money matters. Considering everyone's situation and financial aspirations are unique, it can be challenging to answer financial questions without access to an expert.
Swiss Life understands these needs well and has several advantages to help its customers and non-customers educate themselves about financial matters before talking to someone to hedge a plan.
Can I afford a home for my family? Are we able to work less and spend more time with our kids? Will I be able to maintain my lifestyle later in life? How might we create a budget for our family?
The platform
In close collaboration with the client, we've realized a customer engagement platform that provides advising services to more than half a million people monthly. Through this ongoing cooperation, we designed and developed several integration-ready calculators and widgets that help you find answers to these types of questions by yourself.
The customer engagement platform has grown over the past few years, encompassing more than 20 calculators and widgets that everyone can use to get a head start on planning the financial aspects of their life. For instance, we launched a real estate search portal, a part-time calculator for families, and a central customer inquiry form. In addition to the concept and development work, we are responsible for setting up and operating the project's infrastructure. We rely on a cloud-native approach to process the large volume of requests each month, which allows us to manage the applications in a container infrastructure at any location and scale them automatically.
